For the Private Sector: Partnerships for Education
Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Education (MSPEs) bring together the private sector, governments, civil society and other organisations to pool and manage resources and competencies that contribute to the expansion and enhanced quality of education. They differ from PPPs (Public-Private Partnerships) in their explicit focus on a broader coalition of partners and stakeholders than merely the public (governments) and the private (companies) sectors.
The Private Sector has a key part to play in delivering effective MSPEs, through their role in:
- Supporting the delivery of education systems that are relevant to the needs of the economy
- Helping governments to implement effective management structures within the education sector
- Developing innovative educational solutions
- Contributing to the provision of infrastructure and resources for education
Partnerships for Education is committed to making appropriate resources available to assist private sector companies in their implementation of effective and sustainable MSPEs in support of the Education for All goals. The following documents are currently available:
