3. Uploading Information
3.1. A central feature of this interactive database is that project directors can upload information about the projects in which they are involved.
3.2. To do this, users should be registered as project directors (see above)
3.3. To upload information, click on the ‘Upload Info’ link at the top of the page
3.4. This takes users to the current projects page. To upload a new project click on ‘Add New Project’.
3.5. This takes you to the page where the following project information can be added:
3.5.1. Project summary
3.5.2. Project contacts
3.5.3. Partnership details
3.5.4. Funding details
3.5.5. Outcomes
3.5.6. Scope
3.5.7. Execution details
3.5.8. Documents (that can be uploaded to the site)
3.5.9. Images and Videos (that can be uploaded to the site)
3.6. To create a new item, users should click on the ‘New’ button at the top of each section, and then enter the relevant material
3.7. It is not necessary to complete all of the headings for any one project, but the PfE Secretariat encourages users to upload as much information as possible about their projects so that the database may be as comprehensive and useful as possible. At a minimum, we recommend that project directors should provide the following information about their MSPEs:
3.7.1. Summary
3.7.2. Objectives
3.7.3. Start Date
3.7.4. URL
3.7.5. Contact Details
3.7.6. Country or Countries
3.7.7. Some information on project execution
3.7.8. Details of any monitoring and evaluation
3.7.9. Uploaded project documentation
Users may find it easier to have this information ready in advance, that they can readily upload the details
3.8. It is not necessary to enter all of the information at a single session; additions and changes can be made at any time by returning to the upload page for the relevant project
3.9. The ‘Actions’ button enables users to be alerted when items change
3.10.Should users require assistance in uploading information, please contact the PfE team through the ‘Contact Us’ button at the left side.
