About the Role

ALU  is looking for an organized, self-guided and detail-oriented Marketing Events Associate to join our Marketing and Recruitment  team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, executing and measuring the impact of a variety of digital events targeted at students, parents and educators, supporting the overall student recruitment objectives of the Marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Some responsibilities of the role include:

  • Create, manage and own  project plans for various marketing event activities.

  • Coordinate events and meetings by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; managing e-mailing lists to ensure event success.

  • Provide administrative support to each members of the marketing team as needed.

  • Maintain email lists for internal and external communications.

  • Assist in the production of marketing and printed materials

  • Provide technical support for online events including webinars and Hangouts

  • Curate and organize audience questions for online events

  • Assist with event communications and post-event engagement and coordinate communications

  • Track event related data and analytics

REQUIREMENTS

You don’t have to be an expert to be a rockstar in your career. Our non-negotiable requirement is: drive. You  have to be passionate about bringing out the best version of you as you launch your career. Other nice things to have are:

  • A successful track record of planning, testing, launching, monitoring, optimizing and measuring digital events

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, Business, International Affairs, etc)

  • 2-3 years’ experience in marketing and communications, including experience relevant to a role working in events coordination

  • High level organizational skills, willingness and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-

  • paced, deadline-driven environment

  • A strong work ethic, professionalism and integrity

  • Ability to successfully work collaboratively and with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams

  • Positive, “can do” attitude
