Partners for Education - Liberia is a non-profit organization committed to reducing poverty and unemployment among youth. To reduce poverty and unemployment, we work to educate and empower youth by training them to turn problems into opportunities, create employment opportunities for themselves and others, and prepare them for employment in the labor market. We also work to link them to professional development and employment opportunities.
As a youth-led organization, we remain committed to preparing and empowering youths for the future; we believe that by educating and empowering youths, we can build a better and more sustainable tomorrow.

About the Role

PforE-Liberia will be implementing a business development training program, the Entrepreneurs Academy (EA), with support for the U.S. Department of State through its Alumni Innovative Engagement Fund. The EA aims to build the business skills of young aspiring entrepreneurs, aged 17-30yrs including women. It offers a practical model that allows participants to learn by doing. The program works with participants to identify business opportunities, turn those opportunities into innovative business ideas. The program would do so by teaching participants how to write effective business plans, improving their entrepreneurial skills, providing them with effective customer relations and business management skills.

The program does not only provide entrepreneurs with effective business skills, but it also provides entrepreneurs access to mentorship/network of coaches to help.


We are therefore accepting applications from qualified candidates who are willing to join our implementation team to fill the following partime roles:

  1.  Business Development Facilitator

  2. Small Business Accounting

  3. Marketing and Communications

Selected candidates will serve as mentors, facilitatos and supervisors for participants. The aim of each facilitator is to help participants identify problems and turn those problems into business opportunities.


Qualified candidates are those that meet the following requirements:

  1.  Must have a Bachelors degree in any business related course for at least two years.

  2. Must be willing to dedicated 15hrs/week

  3. Must be an entrepreneur or have passion for entrepreneurship

  4. Must have at least 2yrs work  experience in a business related role.

  5. Must have detailed understanding of the UN SDGs 

  6. Must have thorough knowledge of computer, projector, MS office, Google suit, Zoom, Canva and other  business softwares

  7. Must be an effective communicated with proven record in training facilitation.
